<p>The very best wind season for Gostoso is between September and March with wind reliability of 90% with a speed of between 17 to 30 knots - so very reliable without being over powerful. There is a variety of conditions from shallow, flat water through to small clean waves. For lessons, there is a dedicated kite training zone with a large area of shallow water and more onshore conditions, so it is very safe and easy. For bigger waves (up to 2m) there is a great spot around 20 minutes drive away with&nbsp;the best season being from November through to January when you will find super clean 1-2 metre waves on the outer reef.<br></p>

<p></p>Kitesurfing Lessons with a personal instructor gives you the opportunity to have a 1-on-1 interaction with your instructor to help you learn at a pace that is driven by you. The Learn To Kitesurf course aims to get you riding, while also teaching you how to read the conditions and utilise your equipment safely and correctly.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>You will start with the basics; this includes setup of your equipment, safety features that you will utilise and how to fly a small 2metre trainer kite. When your instructor feels you are ready you can then head to the water. On day one you will only be using the kite and not go on the board just yet. Entering the water is when the fun starts! Here you will be taught how to properly fly an inflatable kitesurfing kite, how to control your kite and what to do if you crash it in the water. On day one you will be comfortable flying the kite and know what to do in any situation.<br><br>You will then move on to the board lessons. What does that mean? Well it is time to get up on the board now. You will practice using the kite to generate pull and you will learn how to get the kite to pull you without the board first. The idea is to get used to how the kite behaves when asked to pull you. Once confident doing this you will learn how to put the board on your feet and after that, how to get up on the board. Most people will manage to do a few metres on the board by the end of the course.<div><p></p></div></div>

<p>Private 1-1 kitesurf instruction is the best and fastest way to learn to kitesurf, improve, or master a specific trick or move. Lessons are normally in 1-2 hour sessions, but you can discuss this with your personal instructor.</p>

Learn advanced maneuvers like jumps, tacks, and gybes, take an epic foil trip along the coast, or simply learn how to foil in case you have never tried it. <br></p>

Having a windsurf lesson as part of a group is great fun, sociable, and great value. Groups are rarely more than 6 people (normally 3 to 4) and include equipment rental during the lessons. The focus of these lessons are planning, beachstart and waterstart. For more advanced skills like jibes, freestyle and loops, we recommend private lessons.&nbsp;<br></p>

<p>The latest addition to the world of wind-powered watersports, wing foiling allows you to quickly and safely fly over the water.&nbsp;</p><p>Your introduction to wing foiling will start with a short theory lesson in which you will learn how to carry the wing, steer it, and turn it to catch the wind. You will then go into the water fully equipped with a wetsuit, life jacket, wing, and a large surfboard. The next step is to refine your handling of the wing on the water as you learn to surf for the first time in light wind on smooth water. As you make progress, you will be able to surf independently.&nbsp;</p><p>After you have learned the basics of handling the wing, you can move on to mastering the foil which gives that wonderful feeling of flying silently over the water. With the support of a speed boat, you can enjoy foiling for the first time without the wing or wind. This will help you to learn how to stabilize the board. Finally, you will put all the steps together as you learn how to handle and control the wing on the foil board. You will soon be flying, driven by the wind, without a motor and almost no noise, feeling very light and almost weightless. Now you're a wingfoil surfer!&nbsp;</p>
