<p>Belle Mare is on the eastern coast of Mauritius, best known for its stunning beaches, clear turquoise waters, and lush surroundings. Many of the most luxurious hotels are on this side of the island, although many are further North from Belle Mare. This side of the island is very quiet and inland areas around Belle Mare are rich flora and fauna, including lush vegetation, colourful flowers, and various bird species.</p><p>There is some limited scuba diving on the side of Mauritius, but it is perfect for Kitesurfing and Standup Paddleboarding.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The kiting at Belle Mare offers beautifully flat and uncrowded water and this is a great spot to learn or improve your skills away from the crowds. The wind season here is much shorter than on other parts of the island, with the best time from July to September (or mid-October). The wind is side to side-onshore from the right.</p>

<p></p>Kitesurfing Lessons with a personal instructor gives you the opportunity to have a 1-on-1 interaction with your instructor to help you learn at a pace that is driven by you. The Learn To Kitesurf course aims to get you riding, while also teaching you how to read the conditions and utilise your equipment safely and correctly.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>You will start with the basics; this includes setup of your equipment, safety features that you will utilise and how to fly a small 2metre trainer kite. When your instructor feels you are ready you can then head to the water. On day one you will only be using the kite and not go on the board just yet. Entering the water is when the fun starts! Here you will be taught how to properly fly an inflatable kitesurfing kite, how to control your kite and what to do if you crash it in the water. On day one you will be comfortable flying the kite and know what to do in any situation.<br><br>You will then move on to the board lessons. What does that mean? Well it is time to get up on the board now. You will practice using the kite to generate pull and you will learn how to get the kite to pull you without the board first. The idea is to get used to how the kite behaves when asked to pull you. Once confident doing this you will learn how to put the board on your feet and after that, how to get up on the board. Most people will manage to do a few metres on the board by the end of the course.<div><p></p></div></div>

East End Kitesurf School

<p>Private 1-1 kitesurf instruction is the best and fastest way to learn to kitesurf, improve, or master a specific trick or move. Lessons are normally in 1-2 hour sessions, but you can discuss this with your personal instructor.</p>

<p>Daily kitesurf unlimited rental, with choice of boards and kites, bar included. The range of equipment will vary from each different kitesurf school, so sometimes the exact kite size may not be available. Kitesurf rental packages are great if you want to experiment with different types of equipment before you decide to invest in your own, or if you just don't want toe hassle of taking your own equipment.&nbsp;</p><p>The quality of kitesurf rental equipment will vary from each different sport centre.
